At 7:00 A.M. a block from skid row, Micah turns the corner and slowly saunters in our direction like he doesn't have a care in the world. I'm not sure where he was heading. When I asked him what brought him to Downtown Los Angeles, he said his wife had died, and he was "touring the country". His boots were freshly polished.

He also had what looked like the equivalent of two packs of Big League chew in his mouth.
